New Producers Alliance press release - January 2007 - King of Kommunication

Ladies and gentlemen, are you ready to rumble? This months Fight Night
kicked off with a screening of finalist Rehana Rose Khan's Wooden Soul,
followed by a Q and A with the writer and director herself who revealed that
her designer background influenced her short. Round two saw a screening of
three films ready to battle it out to join Rehana for a place in the final.
In the red corner was Perry Steven's King of Kommunication, in the blue
corner was David Reid's Living Starts Here, and in the yellow corner was
Rob Brown's Family Portrait. While the votes were being counted, the
audience had the chance to relax with a drink whilst the filmmakers
discussed their films. With baited breath it was finally announced that the
winner of the November Shorts Fight Night is.... Rob Brown's Family
Portrait. Well done to all the participants and congratulations again to
Rob.
The next deadline for shorts is 10th NOVEMBER. Go on, we dare you!
